See all the wonderful creations and the wonderful finalist!!! Congrats ladies!!! We now are having a race for the final 6. I'm seriouly nervous here.
Here is my entry my lo. This lo was created using Rusty Pickle's Lucky line....which I am convinced maybe my fav. The pic is of Dusty. I feed the birds and everyday in the morning Dusty goes to the window to look. He just loves it and when I ask do you wanna go watch the birds he goes right for the window. Wanted to always have this special memory. The journaling reads: Dusty you have been watching these birds since you were about 5 1/2 months old. I would at first hold you up to look, then you would sit up and Colby and Cooper would hold you to look, now you view on your own. Dusty ALWAYS enjoy the birds. Love ya, Momma

Mother's ~Colour Create Week 16~

Hello Everyone I have been so busy on a project I have hardly had any time to do my challenges. I created this card for The challenge at Colour Create to use the colors sky blue, tan and ecru. The image is for inspiration. I had pulled this stamp set out to make a Mother's Day Card...but as things go didn't quite make it. I still wanted to make the card anyway.....I still think it would be a great card for a new mother. I used the stamp set from SU Maternal Instincts 2004. Colored with Gamsol Prismacolor. Layered using DCWV Nana's kids stack, Bazzill cardstock. Prima flowers, Fancy Pants straight pin, trims, rhinestones, and the Cricut used Storybook for the marquee on side, the flourish are Home Accents. Cuttlebug embossed. The inside reads God could not be everywhere, and so He created mothers. Such a great sentiment. TFL!!

Dragonfly Card ~Tutorial~

Hello everyone here is the card I made using the dragonfly tissue paper technique. See below I created the card using K and Co. Blue Awning, Cricut Storybook Accent/frame Pg. 72 cut at 5 1/2. The silhouette cattail was cut from Wild Card cut at 5 1/2. The stamp is from Stamp Oasis. I used alcohol inks to cover a clear acetate sheet using, green , blue, pearl, and white with the extender. I backed acetate with bown cardstock. You may click on picture to view closer. tfl.

Step 1

Gather supplies needed Pearl Ex, mica powders, glitters, Diamond glaze, gold or silver tissue paper, heat resistance transfer paper, stamps, black ink. Stamp your stamps onto a plain sheet of white typing paper using the darkest black ink you have. Using the white sheet of stamped paper run it thru your copier (darkest setting if you can adjust) using the transfer paper that it is being copied to. Allow to dry.

Step 2

Now using the same side that the print was made on (usually the rougher side) cover with the Diamond Glaze sprinkle on the mica powders, and the glitter.

Step 3

Now taking the tissue paper cut to fit may over lap ball up tissue paper in hand then open back up and place on your image. pressing.

Step 4

Now this what you should have, place on tissue side up to dry...I usually let it dry overnight or all day.

Step 5

When completely dry you may cut out image.

Step 6

This is another finished dragonfly ready to go on a page or a card, or any project. This was my first tutorial. Thanks for looking, hope this helps.

I AM SO LUCKY TO BE YOUR MOM

Description: Hello everyone I just completed this last night, I had worked on it for the March Rusty Pickle Blog Challenge
http://rustypickle.typepad.com/
Using a sketch from Beckie Dreyer , Please check it out..They also now have a store so if you can't find the paper you are looking for from RP check it out:
http://rustypickle.com/ I know several times I had a hard time finding certain packs of pp from RP......which I have been a big fan of for sometime now.
I used Anna Caughlin's RP767, Kitty O'Shea's RP 766, The Emerald Rose RP765, Fitzpatrick's RP768, Irish Brigade RP 769,and Nine Fine Irishmen RP770, The word Lucky came from one of the cardstock coupons CC10, The Challenge was to use the sketch, use RP rub-ons which you can see I did, may I add they do slide on like butter!!! The two hearts are also RP rub-ons above us in the pic. The buttons are also RP, and the Beautiful overlay is RP. The Journaling is behind the pic with a RP tab to pull out.
Journaling:
