Week 2 of 48 Weeks A Class Taught By Donna Downey ~WHiMSiCAl fLOWeRs~

So I was able to complete week 2 which I feel so accomplished because now I completed three weeks....which is totally awesomeness to the core....anyone who knows how busy crazy my life is and to be able to complete any art work is a HUGE accomplishment.
I have completely have enjoyed myself thoroughly to the max!!
Well this week was whimsical flowers you can see some of the Week 2 magic HERE on Donna's website.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE neon's so when Donna went for the neon's I was like oh yeah I'm there! I can sooo paint with a neon. I used some old Rusty Pickle alpha stickers in the background.
You can also visit my week 1 HERE

for the love of neon's

I completely love the flowers and the fun I had...it takes four or five times longer than most but I am so thankful to be able to participate and hope you can join us also.

So today my dear sweet friend Beverly came out to visit and we played in our journals and made pizzas, my aunt Jan also came to visit. The boys rode their four wheelers and we were able to be in the warm sunshine to journal. A GOOD DAY!!
I drew this girl above for Beverly to show her how I draw faces.....I used completely Caran d' Arche crayons. The marks under her face are the Montana Markers (which btw I love) that Beverly tried out in her journal...I love how she came out with the marks on her face....

One of the pizzas we made...talk about yum!!!! I believe this one was Beverly's.....

Beverly took a few spins on the four wheelers too...she learned the Real Meaning of "EAT MY DUST" gotta love it!

Using one of the newest Prima dolls by Julie Nutting the adorable Mermaid......we both put added touches on this page which turned out so sweet....I love the colors.  Montana markers, Faber-Castell Gelatos, and oil pastels to complete this page.

Here is the two together,,,,,,,,,,,of course a good day!!
I hope your weekend was a good one too....wishing you all a wonderful week!
Go and Be ArtFul!!

Week 1 of 48 Weeks "Fly" a Class Taught by Donna Downey

Hello again hey look I published another post all in the same week, with that being said I'm right proud of myself!!! When I can actually sit long enough to type on the computer.....with all the boys lefty at home I stay more busier than when I had all nine home. It has something to do all boys and the lack of the help from the older ones.....I'm guessing, lol!!! I do miss having the girls here for some help, and washing a few loads of clothes.....well anyway on to business.....I had signed up for Donna Downey 48 weeks class online after about the fourth week of emails of inspiration.......I was like I don't have time to take an online class most that I do sign up for I never get to do or I watch a few videos.....its not that I loose interest its called TIME! Well in the last two weeks I haven't even got to watch a video or even touch the journal designated just for 48 weeks~! I completed week 3 when I signed up because I actually had all the necessities to complete the class without going to the store or ordering something......and when you live in the middle of no where you have to wait until you go to "town" to get things. So I started off with week three and because of course I was way behind the others.....but not really it turns out everyone is at different places and some are even way ahead! Bravo!! The inspiration has been over the top and of course the fun and excitement of the sharing of others. In 2009 I met Donna Downey for the first time at an Inspired Event thanks to one of my friends Cathleen Smith who shared her events with me.....when I met Cathleen at the Rusty Pickle Design Team event in Utah. When Cathleen asked me to come I was like who is Donna Downey......I know lol!! Well that was all she wrote I signed up for the event and have been fortunate enough to attend several events since and it is ALWAYS pure pleasure and a renewing experience with Donna. I could tell you endless things she has done for me! Well needless to say I'm hooked! So this class was a must it is just getting it by my husband who doesn't let me spend money unless he knows every cent! So this was a big deal!!  I never even told him because he will get mad a me....sounds crazy I know but I am sure glad I took the risk!!! LOL! You can view Donna's and some of the other students work on Donna's Blog for week 1 GO HERE
I really enjoyed week 1

The face was a new for me on the "tiny" version!!

The bird was a perfect touch I thought

I hope you too can join our group at 48 weeks
Thanks for looking and have a great rest of the week...I will try to post week 3 as soon as I can...I was hoping to work on week 7 but looks like I will be working week 2 next....

Celebrating Your Inner Goddess Superpowers Week One of LifeBook

Celebrating my goddess superpowers, a year long journey of Life Book by the very talented and wonderful Tamara Laporte. She has amazing classes, and so very talented. Look I was able to paint this portrait for the first time while watching her video, which I have drawn things but just doing not really knowing what I was doing.....trust me you learn quick when your kids have what seems like a million projects....LOL!!!

The theme is great and as she put it very uplifting.....and therapeutic. I had a ball making it and I was proud of myself!! Thanks to TAM!!! The hearts are Ice Resin Paper from vintage music sheets.
I used several stamps and KaiserKraft rub-ons.

My husband was so proud of me...LOL!

I added brown eyes to match mine. If I could only have her lips.
Well hello again, I have a busy week.....well back after Crystal's party the end of Oct. 2011 we started painting the house....well its three stories and the bottom floor has like 16 ft high ceiling in places...alot of paint! We have just finished the second floor and now are going back and adding carpet...etc...hardwood floors, etc....well we are replacing the tile floors for hardwood and some of the existing hardwood floors with carpet...which before now we have not had carpet in this house. We are excited and trust me it has been a journey and a half. Right now as I type this I have two guys in my kitchen tearing up the whole floor and is it noisy!! When my husband builds something it is solid and that porcelain floor has cement backboard too, wow what a mess, but it will be all worth it in the end. I am pretty much confined to one room in the house because we have the rooms covered with plastic....so much dust!!!! Can't wait to share the picture with you guys. Have a good day, cyber hugs, Dawn Gallop
