Hello and Happy Sunday. What an angel he is, Kenso the King. I have told you about my grandson Kenso before but jic you are new he is Crystal's baby boy. He is so precious I love him so much. Crystal gives me updates and happenings regularly. He just turned one you can see his party here

Crystal and Skylar are always taking him to play. He enjoys it so much. He even loves riding in the wagon at daycare. He is so sweet and loving.
Yesterday Cody and the boys came over yesterday’s post. Bruce and I made them dinner. Burgers and buns. Amelia brought over a broccoli salad which was so delicious. She also brought a gluten free dessert we won’t talk about that. Haha guilty little pleasures. Peanut butter and chocolate my weakness. Everyone really enjoyed the buns.
Yesterday Alexis had her Easter celebration with her family and she made cornbread. It turned out beautifully. That was one of the Lodge pans I had got her and Amelia for Christmas a few years back. Good to see it in use. Love that!

This past weekend Jr ended up in the hospital. He has knee pain and the swelling just continued to increase. He couldn’t walk on it and still he is struggling with it. No apparent reasons or anything. Nothing bite him or no reason at all. Kim and Jr were going out to eat and ended up in the ER. That wasn’t the date they had planned for.
When Jr was 10 this same thing happened to him he got cellulitis of the knee. No reasons then either! He was in the Children’s Hospital for five days on IV antibiotics. During that time we drove back and forth to see him. It was hard because I had four other children at the same time and only one car. My mom was still living in the area then, Jr will be 40 this year and my mom has been in Florida forever it seems. So my mom knew Norfolk well so she took us out to eat while we were there visiting Jr. My aunt Jan (Sissy) was there too. |
Then today Samantha was feeling ill and nausea so they took her to the hospital as she had got a Zofran for the nausea and started having heart palpitations. So Kim had to take her to the emergency room. They found out her iron level was so low she had to have an emergency blood transfusion. They then wanted to airlift her to another hospital but Kim said no they would wait for the ambulance to come. So now this is all just coming about so I know no more. Just please pray and send all the healing vibes for Samantha. She’s one of our oldest granddaughters. I am sending all the healing vibes your way and positive energy to you sweet Samantha. I love you!!! ❤️

Today I worked on my mushrooms as I was a little behind not being able to do anything else with the family and being in this crazy pains. I have done something now to my piriformis muscle. I know right…. As if! I have been doing all the PT for it. It’s really painful. Bruce moved the heating pad to my chair to help. While I was in all the pain I wrote this poem…. See below ⬇️
I wrote a poem today for one of my art pages
Trees, trees, trees—I stand among them, feeling the power of their hearts and the energy of their souls. The wind blows gently as leaves whisper words of gratitude to me. Gaia creates a grounding of positive forces that can't be fully explained with words of wisdom, since one only knows what is felt.
