Hi everyone it feels like forever since I was up here, but not really. I have been helping my son on his school
project what seems like forever now. I have learned just as much and really feel like
WOW! They sure didn't teach all that when I was in school.
So hopefully I will be back in the studio creating some magic
in a jiffy!! He has to turn in his project Friday.
My dear friend Bev came out Monday since she had off from work,
I was gonna just keep wprking on the project but she made me wanna
scrap, so I did! It felt sweet!
I decided to do the weekly challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog.
Weekly Challenge #16 which reads as follows:

Weekly Challenge #16: Cute As a Button Sketch Challenge!

Babies are definitely “cute as a button” with their sweet little faces and tiny features. In honor of our Baby Theme, this week we challenge you to create a SCRAPBOOK PAGE or CARD using the sketch below. Your project doesn’t need to follow the sketch exactly, but it should be apparent that you used it as inspiration. Feel free to turn it on it’s side or move elements to fit what you are doing. In addition to using the sketch, we also want you to incorporate STAMPING and BUTTONS (of course!).
Project must be newly created for this challenge and must include atleast 2 different cuts from any Cricut cartridge to qualify. This challenge is open to Cricut Circle Members only. Submit your entry using the InLinkz tool found at the bottom of this post. Please post your full name along with your entry. You must submit a project to be entered into the drawing. Entries are due by 11:59 pm MST on Thursday, January 20th, 2011. This week the winner will receive $25 added to their Cricut.com account OR their choice of ONE of the following cartridges: Freshly Picked, Give a Hoot, Rock Princess, or Wrap It Up. Prize will be shipped within 4 to 6 weeks of Winner announcement.

See sketch above by Jana Eubank

B is for Boy the plane and toy, plane at 2 1/2, and the ring at 2
The title is from Nursery Rhymes cut at 2 1/4
The tag is from Straight From the Nest at 2

Well Hello!! I know it seems like forever even though it has only been week, but a  tough one at that. Dusty stayed sick until Thursday and now everyone is well!! YEAH!!!! I got all the laundry finished up here yesterday and was able to work on this yesterday. As soon as I saw the challenges I started the whole idea...I colored everything in with the Copic markers, the stamps are all Imaginisce. The stamps are the princess, dragon, the carriage, the flowers, and the castle.  The papers are Imaginisce and some Bazzill for cardstock.  The papers are from the Enchanted Collection from Imaginisce.
The challenges for this projects are based on two challenges for this month one  from the Imaginisce Blog where the fabulous Pinky altered the Christmas clock she had, I was so Inspired that I thought why not use the tic tac toe board I bought at the thrift store a few months back for .98 cents it only came with four oxox pieces. Whenever I do go to the thrift store I am always looking for things to alter, I tell my husband "yes I can do something with it but in my next life" LOL!!! It seems sometimes I have too much to alter, but you never know what might be EXACTLY what you are needing!!! Here are the details from Pinky
