Hello again,
Last night I couldn't sleep, so I decided I would scrap a page. Checked out Scrapbook.com for a challenge,
I had checked this one out when she posted it and thought, this is a awesome one.
I started with a pic of Amanda, and edited it to look scary.
The challenge states,
So therein lays the challenge: Create layouts that are out of your comfort zones. Come on over to the dark side!

This month’s challenge topic will be Blood and Roses. There was an old vampire movie called this and I thought it sounded like it could be an interesting theme. Feel free to interpret the title any way you wish to.

Let your imagination and your dark side loose! Have fun! I can’t wait to see what you all will come up with!

Perfect! Amanda's favorite colors are black and red and her room is solid red and she has zebra sheets.
This page is perfect for her.
Within minutes I found the perfect paper from Creative Imaginations.
They came from past Swirlydoos kits.
I created the title using the Gypsy and Happy Hauntings Cart. from Cricut

The lollipop flower I made, the flowers are Petaloo, and Prima.
The paint is red and black acrylic paint watered up and dripped from the top.
The gate is cut from the October 31st Cricut Cart.
I didn't feel so peppy this morning but hey I got a scrapbook page done.
Have a wonderful week!!

Hello again,
I know it has been one of those weeks....getting class stuff ready for teaching, DT projects, and finishing up other projects.  Not to mention this is the week before Halloween and alot of activities.  We have been having fun getting ready for Halloween. Despite this continued leg pain...I still try to keep going .  The recipe I wanted to share with ya...for the day. Recipe can be found fbnr.com magazine Vol. 7, No. 18, October 31, 2002 edition. These are a favorite of the children. Found on page 44 of the magazine cookbook they call them Abracadabra Hats.....we call them wizard hats, big Harry Potter fans here!!!!!
                        Abracadabra Hats
1 package of Pillsbury Crescent rolls
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves (I used Italian seasoning)                                                                        16 turkey pepperoni slices (I used a star and biscuit cutter to make stars/moons)
salami sticks (I use cheese sticks and or turkey cocktail wienie's)
2 cups pizza or marinara sauce (I serve with angel hair pasta)

I use my Pampered Chef stone, roll out the dinner rolls preheat oven to 375* roll the wienie's up into the wide ends to create a brim. I have also used cheese sticks. Sprinkle with spices,  Cut out the moons/stars and place on top of hats.  Bake for 12 minutes.Just toooo tooo cute!!

The Halloween spirit house I have created started with a trip to Ornamentea  where I signed up for a class with Carol Owen. An amazing artist who also has a book and is in several others books as a guest artist. She signed my books, and taught us a tremendous amount of knowledge. We all had a blast met some awesome ladies. Pam treated us for lunch on Sunday, thanks Pam! Carol and I had lunch together at McDonald's Saturday together. Just fun fun fun!! It was well needed relaxing weekend. We made our spirit house on Saturday and finished up the drawer on Sunday and of course some decorating. As usual all my goodies are at home so I wait until I get home to decorate. I worked on it Monday and finished up on Tuesday...found out the challenge of the week over at Simon Says Stamp was something scary...well I think I covered that!!!
So this creation is entered in that awesome challenge. There are of course Tim Holtz products, Golden paints, Martha Stewart punches, copper roof with the Sizzix TH die used thru the Cuttlebug. Patina, dollar store skulls, the tiny skulls are handmade by me using paper clay. Copics used to color them airbrushed. The sign in the back is Pink Paislee. I hope you like it!! Have a WONDERFUL HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Hello all,

I made this cute little card to make in a Copics Technique Class...learning Cool Gray's. We used C1-C9.  The stamps are Imaginisce and are still available at the store. All About Scrapbooks. That same night we also made this adorable card Give Me a Call Sometime, that Chris gave me permission to teach for a Digi technique using Cool Gray's. Too too cute!! The card is made from Bazzill paper that I used the Silhouette SD to cute the scalloped card. Love it!! The transparencies are a wonderful gift from my dear friend/student Beverly.....she has provided us with tons of transparencies for many of the classes. I ran it thru my laser printer and had the cob web in the cut out. Sakura white pen. Fun simple card...which you know simple is hard for me!! LOL!! Thanks everyone for the well wishes...this sciatic nerve pain is no fun. I feel that if I could just rest it would heal. The boys just keep me too busy. I wanted to share these fun pics of the boys the other night...I had bought some glo sticks and lets just let the fun begin!! Wishing everyone a wonderful inspired day!! Cyber hUGS, Dawn Gallop
