Hello again,
Last night I couldn't sleep, so I decided I would scrap a page. Checked out Scrapbook.com for a challenge,
I had checked this one out when she posted it and thought, this is a awesome one.
I started with a pic of Amanda, and edited it to look scary.
The challenge states,
So therein lays the challenge: Create layouts that are out of your comfort zones. Come on over to the dark side!

This month’s challenge topic will be Blood and Roses. There was an old vampire movie called this and I thought it sounded like it could be an interesting theme. Feel free to interpret the title any way you wish to.

Let your imagination and your dark side loose! Have fun! I can’t wait to see what you all will come up with!

Perfect! Amanda's favorite colors are black and red and her room is solid red and she has zebra sheets.
This page is perfect for her.
Within minutes I found the perfect paper from Creative Imaginations.
They came from past Swirlydoos kits.
I created the title using the Gypsy and Happy Hauntings Cart. from Cricut

The lollipop flower I made, the flowers are Petaloo, and Prima.
The paint is red and black acrylic paint watered up and dripped from the top.
The gate is cut from the October 31st Cricut Cart.
I didn't feel so peppy this morning but hey I got a scrapbook page done.
Have a wonderful week!!
Cyber Hugs,

Snow Princess

You can click on the picture to view closer, if needed.

Good Morning everyone. I did this lo lastnight using my SwirlyDoo's kit, I already have my Febuary one but wanted to play with my January one before the month was up. I was so inspired by Sheila's Gypsy cut http://shesasassylady.blogspot.com/ that I made one similar of course mine is no where as fancy and pretty. What I did was while I was at the bus stop waiting to pick the boys up using the Gypsy was use George and Home Accents and welded the circle and the swirl. Then I cut one out with the whole circle in the center, then the top one with the circle cut out. Sheila was using a sketch by Liz Qualman. Sheilas lo is gorgeous, check it out.

The title was from Hello Kitty and the snowflake is from Accents Essentials all welded together. Princess is cut from Gypsy Font, welded. I layered the snowflake four times using thin popdots. The purple paper is some more of the handmade paper me and the boys made from scraps. The pp is Bo Bunny Snowy Serenade....love it!!! The file tab is also Bo Bunny. The while cardstock is Bazzill Basics. The turquoise cardstock is SU.

The white flower from the SwirlyDoos kit is from Prima, which I sprayed with Haunted Shadow Tattered Angels Glimmer mist. The put the stamens in and some ice stickles and Diamond Glaze. The flowers are Bo Bunny and Prima. The snowflake chipboard is also in the kit. I painted it white and then sprinkled on MS ultrafine glitter while wet. The rub on in the pic is KaiserCraft white flourish corner. The snow word was stamped using Autumn leaves swirls using white pigmant ink and crystal sparkle embossing powder, then stamped using SU lavender lace. The screen was from Tattered Angels Vintage Ice. The pic is of my dear granddaughter Abigail, pic taken Dec. 17, 2009 while she was looking at the Christmas Tree, she is wearing this cute little dress I bought from Target after Halloween, that is called Snow Princess costume...Abigail loves it!! She would say Grandma I put my dress on again....too cute!! TFL!! Have a WONDERFUL Day. Dawn :o)

Love the sketch thanks Sarah. Since the sketch is about winter, snow, sledding you know all the winter stuff. I picked these pics of my children from January 2001. This is a pic of my oldest 5, which now Jr. will be 23 in a few days, and the littlest one is Cody who is now 12. Time just goes way to quick, thank goodness we have cameras to capture these moments. Anyway......I used the Rusty Pickle Chocolates Bunnies line, and the Word Reel page for this lo with some good ole' cardboard and the blue is from Panama Jack . The W is from the cardboard letters from Rusty Pickle which are just fabulous!! The snowflakes at the bottom are from SpellBinders, layered.
