Around the fire at the house we stayed at on the same back veranda area where all the plants are.

My travel art bag the sketch was one of the days of the 30 day sketchbook challenge. It starts with a B and use blind contour drawing. I plan on watercoloring it.
I love taking pictures of trees
Bird of Paradise are all over San Diego

Of course I went here. I ordered from them for many many years. Crystal told me to hurry up I’m giving five minutes. Thanks Crystal 😳😭 I went in knowing I had the pressure to hurry up. Bought one tube of the Schmincke Mars black. They asked in the car how much was that I said $20 they all said for that little thing. If you’re not an artist you wouldn’t understand. I had no more black and have wanted to try the Schmincke brand. I saw so many great things inside.
The Pizza Restaurant we ate at. Very delicious. They had gluten free pizza and regular pizza. Definitely worth going to while in San Diego.

Skylar at Ocean Beach
Skylar and me at Ocean Beach the Pacific Ocean
We went to this store but it wasn’t open. It said they were to open at 1pm that day but it didn’t happen. Perhaps something happened and the person working today couldn’t make it. So we missed visiting this shop.
The last meal we made in San Diego. It was really delicious. Bruce and I were the only ones to eat it as the rest of my family went to a burrito place. We just couldn’t spend money to eat out. The pizza was $60 for one gluten free pizza and two sodas. Jimmy John’s was basically $20 a regular sandwich. We just can’t afford to eat out. I’m glad everyone enjoyed the trip. I certainly did. It is 10:30 am this morning and I am actually feeling so much better. I woke up this morning to -8 degrees Fahrenheit. Bruce has been trying to fix all the stuff that Dusty and Colby made mistakes on while we were gone. The boiler, and the bobcat. Colby poured gasoline in the bobcat and it takes diesel. Dusty left the boiler door open and the oxygen fed the boiler more hot fire and it went up to 300 degrees and it’s usual temperature is 150. Colby had gone to work and when he came home he saw the water boiling out of the boiler. He added water and when Bruce got home he had almost 6 five gallon buckets. Colby did good at trying to fix the problem at the time. The boys did great taking care of stuff. Like always. They are 21 and 17 soon to have birthdays. The animas were ecstatic to see us. Jewelee has been sleeping with Cooper. Cooper has already hooked up with his friends and went hot tubing. To the gym with his friends. He is enjoying his time home. He flys back to San Diego in nine days. I am going to close for now. Sending positive vibes.
Good energy,
Dawn Gallop
