100 Days of School Equals 100 Day Projects Using the Cricut and Lots of Wonderful Ideas and Even a Crayon Art

The 100 Day project Dusty did (of course with my help and the other boys had some help too) We used a 15x30 canvas by Winsor & Newton that I purchased from Jerry's Artarama then I cut the silhouettes of the children from a Cricut cartridge named A Child's Year I cut them at 5 in Bazzill Black Cardstock  then Dusty and I spread out the Golden Gel Medium regular will work fine we used matte. Then while that was drying Dusty separated the colors into sections by color you can use the wheel at Data Pointed.net   of course thanks to Pinterest for all the crayon art ideas I just ran with 100 day project on this......

Dusty sorting the crayons
we bought the 96 pack from Wal-Mart and a used four new crayons we had at the house.

So as he continued to sort the gel medium dried and we ready to begin
He did such a good job on the sorting, Bravo Dusty!
Silly boy so proud of himself!

We then lined up all the crayons using hot glue gun ours was a low melt temp. Then we took a heat gun and went back and forth until it melted and that was all it was....so easy! Thanks Pinterest!!

When we took the projects to school the next day I took pics of all the projects because there were so many wonderful projects and it looked like all the children really enjoyed their creativity!!! Yay!

So I know you have seen a lot of 100 Day projects to spark your imagination!!!!
Cooper also had to do a project too...so we took some of the shells that the boys pick up on the beach all summer long and Cooper sat and sorted them into groups of 10 of 10 shells each to put inside the frame I bought from Michael's and using an old piece of beachy scrapbook paper glued it into the frame....added the poem I wrote (yes I do have the poetic side at times...some good some not so good, lol!!!!) and wrote out a little poem for his project.....which now that his project has returned home I will hang it our beach home. Thanks for looking at all the wonderful 100 day projects...enjoy this it is soooo much fun!!! Until next time...
Have a great weekend!

Week 1 of 48 Weeks "Fly" a Class Taught by Donna Downey

Hello again hey look I published another post all in the same week, with that being said I'm right proud of myself!!! When I can actually sit long enough to type on the computer.....with all the boys lefty at home I stay more busier than when I had all nine home. It has something to do all boys and the lack of the help from the older ones.....I'm guessing, lol!!! I do miss having the girls here for some help, and washing a few loads of clothes.....well anyway on to business.....I had signed up for Donna Downey 48 weeks class online after about the fourth week of emails of inspiration.......I was like I don't have time to take an online class most that I do sign up for I never get to do or I watch a few videos.....its not that I loose interest its called TIME! Well in the last two weeks I haven't even got to watch a video or even touch the journal designated just for 48 weeks~! I completed week 3 when I signed up because I actually had all the necessities to complete the class without going to the store or ordering something......and when you live in the middle of no where you have to wait until you go to "town" to get things. So I started off with week three and because of course I was way behind the others.....but not really it turns out everyone is at different places and some are even way ahead! Bravo!! The inspiration has been over the top and of course the fun and excitement of the sharing of others. In 2009 I met Donna Downey for the first time at an Inspired Event thanks to one of my friends Cathleen Smith who shared her events with me.....when I met Cathleen at the Rusty Pickle Design Team event in Utah. When Cathleen asked me to come I was like who is Donna Downey......I know lol!! Well that was all she wrote I signed up for the event and have been fortunate enough to attend several events since and it is ALWAYS pure pleasure and a renewing experience with Donna. I could tell you endless things she has done for me! Well needless to say I'm hooked! So this class was a must it is just getting it by my husband who doesn't let me spend money unless he knows every cent! So this was a big deal!!  I never even told him because he will get mad a me....sounds crazy I know but I am sure glad I took the risk!!! LOL! You can view Donna's and some of the other students work on Donna's Blog for week 1 GO HERE
I really enjoyed week 1

The face was a new for me on the "tiny" version!!

The bird was a perfect touch I thought

I hope you too can join our group at 48 weeks
Thanks for looking and have a great rest of the week...I will try to post week 3 as soon as I can...I was hoping to work on week 7 but looks like I will be working week 2 next....

Crystal and Skylar in "Beautiful" using Bo Bunny The Avenues and Prima

Hello once again fellow bloggers and friends......I know I'm slow to make a post, but It seems this is last on my busy crazy life....but I do get around to it and do have lots to share! Well my dear friend Beverly came to visit Saturday and we do try so hard to create magic in my studio....well I had started this page awhile back and had never even glued it down.....but it was done just needed to be complete well I finished it Saturday and it was really nice to be able to create a scrapbook page which I adore so!!!!
I did use a lot of fun things to embellish this layout. I started with the wonderful papers from Bo Bunny and some vintage book pages that I just tore out of an old book. Then using a stencil from Crafters Workshop the brick I placed it down using light modeling paste. Allow to dry and then placed inks on the bricks, distressed the page and then placed down all the embellies.

The title I cut from my Cricut and black Bazzill textured cardstock.

The zipper and flowers are a Prima the glass leaves are from Michael's.

The nest is also Prima
Prima photo corner embellies.
