Valentine You Have My Heart
Hello All!! I have been soo upset over the close of Rusty Pickle. I thank everyone of you who have visited me during my term as a RP Chef. You all have been AMAZING!!! I had done this for the February sketch from Julie, thanks again Julie for the wonderful sketch. The idea was to use any papers and to show love. Well I used some of these adorable little pics of my sweet Colby as the teacher puts it he is a model citizen...lol!! If she only knew!! LOL!!!!! I had taken these pics several years back but will always remain special to me. I used Rusty Pickle papers and cardstock coupons, buttons, and the frame and hearts are RP chipboard. I did some sewing and weaving of the tulle. I used a screen over the white paint and dabbed red on the frame and the hearts. The chipboard is embossed using a Cuttlebug folder. The valentine is hand sewed. Once again the homemade paper in the baby blue, I made with my little boys....so much fun!! Those wing hearts I just bought at Michaels....I had to have!! The flowers are MS. Thanks so much looking and I do so much appreciate your comments , the mean so much to me!! Have a WONDERFUL Day, Dawn

So sorry I had to bring this news, but on a happier note I thank Rusty Pickle for all the wonderful opportunities, the friendship, and what an awesome ride. Rusty Pickle will be missed!!!! You all know me I will still be making los and projects with Rusty Pickle....I just love it!!
I still have one more lo to bring ya that I had already finished for the February sketch, that I have brought every month. So stay tuned! This lo I challenged myself to use items that were recycled...yeah I know another issue I have not wanting to throw things out.......I always can find a use!!! lol!! Dh says get rid of it...but I try to keep it!! The lo was made from recyclable cardboard, bottle cap, clothespin spring, and the Prima packaging. The title was cut from the Cricut using the Gypsy welding from the Mothers Day Cart 2010, and Graphically Speaking. All the paper is Rusty Pickle, the tag, the buttons and the cardboard alphas. When I made this lo on Sunday we were snowed in which is like so unusual for us, were like hardly ever get snow. I have really been wanting to garden and this sure helped with all the snow. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to garden and could spend everyday out there...and more so when the fruits of our labor in full force. It is a WONDERFUL Happy time!! TFL!! Enjoy your day!! Dawn Oh yeah I almost forgot about the dragonfly I have a tutorial if ya wanna know how to make. http://creationsbydawn.blogspot.com/search/label/tutorial
