Hello everyone here is little door hanger I made for my dd who is coming home from college this Friday for the summer. I used the vintage image from http://www.peggylovesvintage.com/ as allowed the BBTB viewers to use either of the two images for your creation. http://regina-bittenbythebug.blogspot.com/ Regina is always having fun contest..check them out. Well I used the pink paislee pp and cut from Tags, Bags and More cart. door hanger cut at 9, ruffle from ages ago, sewing, prima flowers, queen &co. brads, the swirls are from the Christmas cart. mug steam. various ribbons. Thanks for looking!!

HAPPY SUMMER ~BBTB~

I made this Teacher Appreciation gift for my entry. My boys love to give! First I purchased an Ice Breakers Iced Tea w/lemon mint tin. Pulled the label off (easy peasy) The using Cricut with Mini monograms cut the first scallop at 3 and then the second at 2 3/4. The Stamped image is SU from the Wishing You the Best set. Says enjoy. The tiny ribbon is brown gingham. The Top was made from Basic Grey Porcelain at 6x4 1/2 scored using the score it folded and then punched w/MS punch and attached to Wilton food safe bag. The tiny shreds of paper in the bottom. The scallop Happy Summer was printed on my computer using the curlz mt at 28 then punched with the scallop SU punch. The lemons are from LAB cut at three and then cut to look like a wedge. This is my favorite part. The square was cut from George at three and then cut at each corner to make the pinwheel. Queen and Co. brad and yellow gingham ribbon. A very tiny piece of dowel rod. Now just imagine sitting in the sun the wind blowing and drinking a cool glass of iced tea. TFL!!!!

You had to have an inspiration from the necklace that is made by Theresa Martin, a San Diego-based jewelry designer who creates unique handcrafted silver, brass, and gemstone jewelry designs. I especially enjoy creating one-of-a kind pieces with sterling silver and a colorful mix of gemstones and beads. So I was inspired when I saw the beautiful pieces of jewelry. Here is the cricut cuts, Title You better Believe it cut from Tink and Friends at 2 1/4. She's ALL That cut from graphically Speaking cut at 1 1/4, and 1 1/2. The leaves are cut from Accents essentials at 1/2, 3/4, and 1. The flourish was cut from Home Accents at 5 then used as a filer behind the flowers. The flowers are just ones I had forever...... The silver flowers are Jolee's. The bird is Maya Road felt, the butterfly came from Wal-Mart . The pp is MM, and the rhinestones. The pic is of Amanda when she was 1, now she will be 16 in a few days. TFL!!!!

BBTB Ornament Contest ~Circle~

Here is an ornament I did using the George cart.for the BBTB Contest. The cut was at 2 1/2 cutting eight circles then I used my scor-it and scored a triangle 1/4 in ward to circle so I could glue together. I used the sassafras lass starry night pp. The snow flake is from Joys of the Season snowflake 2 cut at 1 1/2 on the shadow to make it thicker using doodlebug sugar coated cardstock. Rhinestones and beads. White feathers and brown cats eye ink. There is a small amount of potpourri inside. I love how it turned out, but I had a time getting a good pic this late at night.. TFL!! Fall Altered Printers Shelf for BBTB

I made this altered printers shelf for the Holiday Contest at BBTB. I had several cuts on the Cricut..I used the Expressions to cut the corner flourishes at 6 1/2 and 4 1/2 from Home Accents. I then painted them with crackle paint. I cut the tree at 11 from My Community. The Chip n' Dale from Mickey and Friends. The acorn and leaves from Doodlecharms. The Black bird is the Wyoming bird from 50 States. I used all the pics of the family from last fall. The real acorns are from Sat. me and the boys picked up camping. I have a quilled corn and a yo-yo fabric. Felt leaves, Gin-x quote. The BOYS just love this I have hung it in the hall way at their eye level. TFL!! The quote reads ( No spring nor summer beauty hath such grace as I have seen in one autumnal face. -John Donne)
