Happy Saturday Hello Spring ๐ŸŒฑTwins Hop Hop

Hello and Happy Saturday. Today was the most glorious spring day we have had in such a long time. Wink ๐Ÿ˜‰ perhaps last spring. You get the point. It was a slight breeze, my son Cody and his family came and so did Dusty’s girlfriend Jazz. It was lovely. We missed Garrett and Alexis as they had a family gathering today as well. They had originally planned to come here. We were at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. As you can see the sun was shining bright and not a cloud in sight.

They got their haircut last night and did so good they got little tractors at the store. They are continuing to grow their vocabulary beyond what I can remember my children did at two. Its amazing.
Two peas in a pod ๐Ÿซ›
Hop hop how high can you hop?
Look at them go. I have always loved black and white and sepia photographs and to this day I still appreciate them.
They are really hopping high (jumping) I was telling them hop hop like a bunny.
The light would catch their ears and hands and would have the most intense neon pink.

They just amaze me and are so helpful and inquisitive.

We fixed them peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and they ate them up. Loook at Baker he’s like really savoring his bite. Haha ๐Ÿ˜‚ I love them so much. Sissy came later with mom. Bruce and I cooked a meal for them. Homemade buns and hamburgers that I call my “Bobs” burgers like from the show. I just add things in I’ve freeze dried and cheese etc. they are always moist and delicious. It was so cute the boys had their own burgers but when mom got hers they helped mom eat hers. They would point to the bites they wanted to eat. Being the buns that I made. I use my bread machines to make them. It’s so easy and fast. I have gotten where I can barely walk and stand up so it’s short bursts to get things done. Bruce really has to come in to do the work. It’s sad. ๐Ÿ˜” . My aunt on my dad’s side made a bad fall yesterday and broke her hip. So she is in need of some good vibes and healing messages. Her name is Grace so please send a message to the universe! Here is to healing energy and love Aunt Grace. Take care. Sending love and hugs. Good vibes everyone!!!

Happy Ostara ~ Spring Equinox

Hello and a warm welcome yes a very beautiful spring day. From all the snow to sunshine and 50 degrees Fahrenheit here today. It was the first day we left the house in a very long time. Almost two weeks. Which isn’t a very long time, it’s just that when you couldn’t even go outdoors due to the depth of snow we have endured. I am so glad to see a warm day. Cody came over to collect his sap and Colby helped him. After my zoom class we left to go get our eggs. Which is so Ostara. Planting seeds and fertility.

Briar is now four months old. She is so happy and beautiful. Her adorable smile just makes me fill with joy. Time flies however it seems like the winter has been long.

Hello sweetheart she is just the sweetest. The boys call her Sissy.
Her little outfit is so cute too. The sun is just shining so much today.
Riggs and Ledger

Fun in Florida
Alexis and Tara.

Whist we were out we stopped at the thrift store I found a pair of snow bibs on a blue tag special (color of the week) I got them for $7.00 they are old but made in the USA so you know they have to be from the early 80s. They even say union made. I looked them up and someone said they were vintage from the 70s. Oh they will be great and lightweight.

Well better go for now. It’s much too late and way past my bedtime. Take care and have a great weekend.
Mush love and good vibes,

The 48 Weeks Journal Workshop By Donna Downey My Version of Week #18 ~Love the Story~

Hello once again....since I wrote in the blog last a lot has happened, as you know that's life! I told Bruce that all I wanted for Valentine's Day (however I expected nothing) as we worked and traveled that day to the Wine and Chocolate Festival which I spoke of in my last post see below. For Valentine's Day was to paint....it is really hard for me as someone/somebody/something always needs or wants me. No complaints there! So when I get to paint its just so wonderful and relaxing. The last time I got to work on the 48 Weeks Workshop was my last entry for the Week #17  back in late October 2019. You know the rest is history....always busy. I am always tired too idk if its the Fibromyalgia or just old age or the fact its winter, raining, no sunshine, and COLD. So I have been extremely tired. I keep working as I have too, when I am finally finished (if that's a word on a farm), I am too tired to paint. So for Valentine's Day I wanted to paint....SO I DID...it wasn't Valentine's Day but it happened and that's all I care about. I GOT TO PAINT!!!! YAY!!!! I went way off path of Donna but that's me...when I am on roll.....other times it will be very very similar to Donna's with as Mindy Lacefield always said "with a touch of Dawn" referring to the paintings. I spent a whole weekend with Mindy Lacefield at Donna Downey's one weekend when Dina Wakley came to teach at Donna's place. If you would like to check out the 48 Weeks Workshop. She has some amazing classes to offer online and in person.
I was so very happy with this painting in the journal I am calling LOVE THE STORY. I love to paint and journal so much its a true LOVE that I am very passionate about....and absolutely LOVE!! I think it, dream it, and talk about it all the time.

If you would like to see any of my other weeks go to the week below. As I have said this all started back in 2013/2014 and here I am only on week 18....as I always say "better late than never"....works here!

I used the Rebekah Meier stencil I bought back in October at Art and Soul..... Go HERE to see the post. In that post you actually see my cat Jack who now is not so tiny anymore....he sleeps with Bruce every night. The flowers I punched out with an EkSuccess flower punch. The paints are Golden Paints. The paper I used is the Basic Gray which y friend Beverly gave me awhile back its called Lime Rickey (that goes way back......)

This stencil was also Rebekah Meier as well I had bought this one so time ago now.

So this Saturday we were at Grassfield High School for the craft show which is always AMAZING we have great customers there and I get to see all my vendor family and just have a great time. They always have a great raffle ticket where for $10 you buy a arms length of tickets and if they draw one of your numbers you WIN...well my number got drawn three times......SWEEEEEET so my number was one of the first drawings and I won the rooster picture by Frank Cambron with his business Paintings, Portraits, Animal Pictures and More, OMG what a beautiful painting!!! Hello and welcome it has already been a busy morning, I came into to drink my coffee and as always wanted to make a blog post......but honestly I have no time as I have so much to do today...as tomorrow I have to set up for the Gloucester Daffodil Festival which is a HUGE event and so well put on, a lot to do for everyone....food, crafts, art, games, learning......the list is endless not to mention BEAUTIFUL....the flowers speak for themselves. You can see some of my pics from last year HERE
if you can make it out to the festival it is well worth it we are excited.
The pic above is just the cutest.....Hippy and Miracle riding in the John Deere Gator to the pasture....they used to run right behind me or whomever was taking them but now they have discovered FRESH DEWEY SWEET GRASS awwww so yummy and tasty they just can't help themselves. They were riding up front but Bruce decided to put them in the back and away they went just perfectly fine. Hippy and Miracle were two born recently of seven right now that the moms rejected....you never know why but it happens. One of the kids she kept but Hippy she said no way....so he has been bottle fed since birth and he is doing just fine, we called him Hippy as he had this little tiny hip area which now is not a thing probably how he laid in utero. Miracle born to another doe we call her Peanut she rejected her....well I literally spent three days making her eat and Bruce told me.....she will be a Miracle if she makes it....I never gave up.....and now look.... an adorable little girl goat named Miracle with a heart of gold and runs to us the minute you call her name. Runs as fast as she can.
Riding away now "momma stay behind us jic"
