The Baptism for Briar

Hello and welcome it was a beautiful Sunday morning we were at the Catholic Church in celebration of Briars Baptism. We arrived at the church with temperatures at -4 by 10 am the sun was shining a perfect day. Cody and Amelia with Brooks and Baker were sitting in the quiet room which was nice and warm and comfortable. Briar was getting ready by mom in her ancestral christening gown that was over 70 years old. See pictures below. Everything was just so beautiful. All went well.
The Father reading the verses.

Briar didn’t even cry when the Father poured the water on her. She remained calm and peaceful. That area of the church isn’t as warm either so she did so well. The other children were playing around just happily with each other.

Amelia is my daughter in law she is so beautiful and kind. Just like her mom, Donna.
Picture perfect

The elegant ancestral gown that Briar wore was over 70 plus years old. So soft and dainty.
Cooper was here this was his last family event as he leaves to go back to San Diego Tuesday morning. Uncle Cooper left with Alexis and Garrett and is riding in an Uber back to the airport. It would have us in the car over 10 hours if we hadn’t of worked this out with Alexis. He will stay his last day at her house. Riding in the car for me is definitely difficult with my back. If he left out of an airport closes to here it wouldn’t have been such an ordeal. However thanks to family it all shall work out just fine.
The inside of the church its absolutely amazing. Built in 1880.

The Father took this picture and said I’m sorry for what I did to your phone lol

Brooks and Baker with Cody and Amelia and Briar. The Father.

A great family to be with always.
Our so Cody he’s such a wonderful dad. We are so proud of him.

She’s so precious. She is just over 2 months now.
Grandma Donna made the raspberry cake. It was delicious Bruce had a piece. I will tell you the story tomorrow morning about the other cake we had.

Jr. and Kim made it home after a very long trip back from New York the roads were completely covered the whole way with snow. I can only imagine how tired they are will update at a later date.

Much love and good vibes,

Dawn Gallop
