Meet My Parents

Hello and welcome I thought today would be a great day to share my mom and step dad. My mom whom I call Nancy. Which is what I would like to write a book about. I was never raised to call her mom and when we went places as I was growing up I wasn’t her child. It was a time where women who were divorced or single it wasn’t so called accepted. She was divorced in the early 70s. I left home at 17 and never went back home other than to visit.
They have enjoyed being themselves and playing golf together. My mom is a Zumba instructor. They are in their late 70s and Buck in his early 80s.
These are their hole in ones shots

For Aubrey’s birthday one year we painted pottery. They enjoyed it.

My mother is very well kept she looks younger than me. So proud of her. I love elephants.
This was at the Elephant sanctuary. Which was awesome. We did that with Aubrey too.

We always love to go to Texas Roadhouse. Alexis and Garrett gave us a gift card for Christmas this year. So stay tuned….

Look how little Cooper is beside Alexis
This was taken just last year. Kim and Jr see them about twice a year.

This was 2010
My mother has always loved Christmas. She loves Santa.

With Colten he had worked in Florida last year
My mom collects sock monkeys I do too I have two lol they are just so darn cute. So many creative ones these days.

This past Christmas they played golf together Christmas Day.
This was 2014
This was 2019 when they came to our house in NC that was the last time they had come to visit. Then in 2020 we saw them in Florida they came to visit while we were there at the beginning of Mach 2020. We got back home and everything shut down. I have a YouTube video on that. See below.

Last night we rode to Cody’s to help with his vinyl as the winds had blown a few pieces off. It was nice seeing the babies. Briar was asleep the whole time and Baker and Brooks played in the rice bucket with their trucks I had brought them for their birthday. It was really nice. We came home and had dinner a roast that we made into taco bowls. Very good. Bruce put it in the crock pot first thing in the morning yesterday. I worked on my class pretty much all day yesterday. See you tomorrow. Today is the 29th tomorrow ends the 30 day sketchbook challenge. I am still working on the 100 day challenge it’s day 7 for that. Yay! 😀

Much love and good vibes,
Dawn Gallop
