Wednesday January 14, 2026 San Diego here we are

Hello and welcome to California. We had left Alexis home at 4 am arrived at the Milwaukee airport at 5 am we left at 6 am. Arrived in Las Vegas airport at 7:30 am. Now remember it’s time differences. We then got on our plane to San Diego arriving at 10:30 am. We flew Southwest and everything went well. Very pleasant flight there was a lot of turbulence but it was expected as the pilot informed us at the beginning of the flight. When we stepped outside in San Diego it felt amazing. The sun shining on my face the warmth cuddling my body. Beautiful. 

This was right out the door of the airport. 

There are citrus trees right across the street. 

First ride in the Uber for Bruce.  I rode in one with Alexis while in New York. 

We had lunch here and it was delicious. It was at the San Diego airport. 

This was our lunch. Yummy!! 😋 Gluten free of course. 

The Marine Base is right across the street from the Airport. We sat there a couple of hours I was reading my book. We couldn’t check into the house until after 2 pm. 

While in Las Vegas….. no we didn’t touch none of those machines. I bought a postcard and a magnet.

I was sitting next to the window, Bruce was on the other side of the plane. 

Milwaukee 

 While we were at Alexis’s house we had a good time with the boys. Ledger is growing up so fast. He shared with me his new hunting game he is playing. Showing me all his Legos and what him and Riggs are building now. Alexis made a delicious meal with GF chicken cordon blue. A sirloin and mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms and zucchini. Alexis the Chef!! I was so exhausted and sore all over I didn’t take as many pictures. Tonight I should get some good sleep after being up for so long. Looking forward to Crystal, Billy, Skylar and Kenso to arrive. They left El Paso this morning. It’s 2:54 pm now as I type this. I finished my book well one of them I’m reading now. I read a lot of books physical, Kindle, and Audible. I will share more tomorrow. It’s been a long day and Crystal and the family have arrived safely. Sending love and hugs.
