100 Day Project Days 60-70

Hello and welcome I chose a 100 Day project to do where I learned a new mushroom every day for the 100 Days. A lot of the mushrooms I knew a bunch of the first 50 or have worked with some and seeing others. I have been determined to complete the task. Being on days 72 today everyone in our group has done so many different creative things. Some are sewing, pastels, watercolors, acrylic, flowers, plants, it’s endless of the different mediums and techniques. So much inspiration and community and creativity and passion!!! The love that everyone shows is so amazing and powerful. Years ago I would have never been able to post my paintings now I am like yes let’s do it! I enjoyed this practice as now everyday I have made time to be able to paint no matter what. It feels good! 

In this process of painting I have painted even with all my other tasks even if I am slower. With the scribble journal I just let it pour out and have no problem if someone doesn’t like it because I do. I have learned not to worry what others will think it’s just what I like or feel at the time. #lifechanging  

This one was one of my favorites so far. I used a picture of one of our goats we had well actually two. Daisy and Carmella I painted Daisy but used Carmella’s coloring. Carmella was one of Daisy’s kids. 

Now this one just screams Jimmy Buffet or maybe Margaritaville. Eh?

Well I hope you enjoyed these last 10 days. I certainly have. I feel so good about it too. 

I will be back to normal posting soon. We had an ice storm yesterday while my sons in NC have seen days in the 80s. Spring is dragging her feet! I would usually of moved the plants out to my small greenhouse by now but no chance as of the future weather reports. We have heat but it can be stressful on the plants to not be in a constant temperature. Which in turn can cause the plants to weaken a bit and then the bugs come. So I will have to wait until but my onions should be coming soon. The beds are frozen still but fingers crossed 🤞🏼 it’s gonna start to melt.
